Real Political Lies of the Year for 2010

Politifact.com recently announced its 2010 Political Lie of the Year.  What did they come up with?  The Republicans going around saying that the health care bill is a "government take over of health care".  Really?!  That is the biggest "lie" of the year?  Not if you ask a majority of the American people.  We the People, have rejected this bill hands down.  The Democrats failed to sell the bill to their constituents.  They lost the political debate and now the purchasing mandate has been found unconstitutional by the courts.  I argue that the politifact.com saying that the republicans are lying about saying it is a govenment takeover is a lie in itself.  So congrats, Politifacts, you have lied about your biggest lie.  Ironic, really.
How can saying "it is a government takeover" be a lie?  Well, unless you consider a multi-thousand page bill of regulations and mandates on the health care industry, not to be taking over anything.  Really, politifacts?

Well, to help set the record straight, Keith Price Is Right has created its own top 5 political lies of 2010.

5.  President Obama promising transparency (seriously, please explain to me how he has been transparent?)
4.  Democrats character attacks on the "witch" Christine O'Donnel.
3.  Keith Olberman saying "there is no Ground Zero Mosque" (nice try)
2.  President Obama claiming that the health care bill (cost of a trillion dollars or more) will reduce the deficit
1.  Nancy Pelosi on election day saying "Our outlook to hold onto the House looks good" (one may call it saying what she had to say, but when you KNOW it's not true and you still say it, that is called a LIE)

Final thought of the year:  We learned a lot during this year about the last 10 years.  We learned that (according to Obama) the Bush tax cuts are good for an economy...who knew?!?  And, with Obama all but declaring victory in Iraq, the surge worked, so again, WAY TO GO BUSH!  I think the biggest lie of the decade was the hideous attacks on President Bush.  After two years of Obama, we still have Gitmo open for business and we have the most stringent searches of our privacy at the airports in the history of the TSA.  All of this UNDER OBAMA!!  So again, Bush era tactics towards terrorism have been continued for the most part and it has kept us safe...again, THANKS PRESIDENT BUSH.

Wecome 2011 and our system of Checks and Balances!

Dancing with the Saudis

Saudi Love!  This evening (Thursday, December 9, 2010) Countdown with Keith Olbermann featured a segment that discussed the effect of Hollywood on U.S.-Saudi relations.  So basically, Saudi Arabia is in love with David Letterman, Al Franken, and Desperate Housewives.  Keith Olbermann's spin on it was "Hollywood has done more for US-Saudi relations than George Bush ever could ".  Let me get this right...Keith-O is bragging that liberal shows are popular in Saudi Arabia.
First of all, that is scary, because America is NOTHING like the images that Hollywood projects.  Libs love to say that the 'Leave it to Beaver' persona was a big joke and never existed.  Their response?  Do a 180 degree turn from the 'Leave it to Beaver' type shows to the sex and violence filled shows of Hollywood today (like Desperate Housewives), which is a big joke and is a persona that doesn't exist in real life.  We have to remember here though, that liberals don't really live in reality.  Hollywood, if you think about it, actually portrays America in a very embarrassing way.  So, Saudi Arabia is falling in love with a false image of America.  The violence on evening American TV makes Achmed the Saudi terrorist look like Captain Kangaroo.
Second, it is no secret (thanks to Wiki-leaks) that Saudi is a major fundraiser for terrorism, both financially and in recruitment.  Libs love to point out that most of the hijackers of 9/11 came from Saudi Arabia so we should actually be invading them instead of Iraq or Afghanistan.  Saudi Arabia breeds terrorists, oppresses women, and has one of the few remaining 100% absolute monarchs in the world....and Keith O is proud that those people LOVE liberal shows like David Letterman.

Facts:  David Letterman hates George W. Bush....terrorists hate George W. Bush.....Saudi Arabia loves their terrorists....Saudi Arabia loves David Letterman.  Sort the meaning of that one for yourselves.

So if this 'real terrorist nation', as libs love to profess, agrees with people like Al Franken and David Letterman, maybe its because they both blame America first for the world's problems.  Liberal Hollywood should actually be ashamed and embarrassed that Saudi people like their shows, but when is the last time Hollywood has been embarrassed about anything.  I'm pretty sure that Bin Laden is sitting in some cave right now watching 'Coutdown with Keith Olbermann' enjoying that show, too.  Agreeing with everything Keith-O is saying as well.  WWBLW?  (What Would Bin Laden Watch?)
How about giving credit to shows that terrorists HATE!  I certainly would want no part of a show that was popular in a nation that imprisons women for riding in a car with a man that isn't her husband.  I wonder how popular Glenn Beck is with terroists?

Weaki-President

If there is one thing that the Wikileak fiasco has proven is that our current president of the United States is one weak cookie.  How is it that our airports have become ground zero for pat down security, but some pip squeak foreigner has single handily embarrassed our nation's state of secrecy as our president publicly voices little outrage.  I thought he was looking for "someone's ass to kick"?  It seems that our current administration sees no problem with labeling former veterans as "likely potential" domestic terrorists, but balks at the idea of calling Muslim extremists what they are:  terrorists.
I think it is a pretty safe bet that if President Obama was still a community organizer or a college law professor, he would see no problem with the idea of a foreigner publicizing hundreds of thousands of secret and classified government cables.  So it is no wonder why our government, under the direction of President Obama, has done very little to prevent uber terrorist dweeb Assange from doing what he is doing with his site Wikileaks.
It is obvious that President Obama is against the idea of the government keeping secrets.  On his very first day in office he signed an executive order that basically changed the way that government secrets would be handled.  His order stated that the burden of secrecy was on the government to prove the need of secrecy, NOT on those who were seeking to de-classify documents.  So basically instead of a document being secret until being proven otherwise, a document would now open to the public until proven to be secret.  It placed a greater burden on the government to prove the need of secrecy compared to the previous policy of the public needing to prove the case of why a document needed to be made public.
President Obama and his liberal base see no problem with the openess of our secrets.  See, that is the nature of liberals:  no borders, no secrets, no rich people, no poor people...spread the wealth around, and our nation's secrets.

This Week in Grade K

MSNBC's host Keith Olbermann was suspended by the network this week because he gave political donations to candidates and did not get permission from the network.  Rachel Maddow, who will probably inherit the 5 viewers from Keith's show (which in all honesty is 5 more than view my blog!), went on a rant about how Fox News hosts do this all the time.  This is why Rachel Maddow gets this week's Grade K award for being the liberal who most acts like a kid in kindergarten.  See, that is what a kid in grade K does.  Instead of owning up for the wrong that they did and taking responsibility for one's self, they point to the other kids in the class and say "he's doing it, too!"  People expect this type of behavior from grade k'ers, but not from adults.  It's time to grow up Rachel.
No surprise, though.  Failure to take responsibility for your own actions is everything that a liberal is about.
watch Maddow's rant here which earned her this week's Grade K Award
Suspicion:  I suspect that MSNBC suspended Olbermann ONLY to draw attention to the fact that FoxNews hosts donated to candidates.  This is all just a sham by MSNBC.  They probably wanted to run a story about how Fox News hosts do this, but then they realized that Keith Olbermann also does it.  So, they couldn't run the story because Fox would have thrown it back in their faces and the whole thing would be a wash.  Instead, they decided to come out and suspend Olbermann, get everyone's attention, and then try and expose Fox News for doing what Keith does.  If you think about it, it makes perfect sense.  MSNBC gets ultra publicity AND gets to attack Fox News at the same time.  Just wait and see.

Tea Time...Election Night Observations

*All times are Central Standard

-12:25.......Live Blogging ends for the night.......We'll have to see how it all shapes up with the news reports tomorrow.........Great night for conservatives and the Constitution......this is only the beginning, however.........the hard work begins on Jan. 3, 2011 with the new Congress and then again in the election of 2012!
-12:16...CNN....Anderson Cooper asked if he saw some pot brownies in the background at the Prop 19 rally......the reporter then said it was actually pot baklava....by far the weirdest moment of the night.....CNN reports that the White House made a statement supporting the rejection of Prop 19.....far cry from Obama's college days....ok, cheap shot.  I wonder if Obama is smoking a cigarette right about now!

-12:06....CNN addresses the impact that the election will have on social issues...pundits say:"Gay rights issues are off the table"....."don't ask don't tell will be up held"......Susan Malvo states that there was a record number of gay candidate this year."......they mentioned that in Iowa, where all 7 Iowa Supreme Court judges voted in favor of gay marriage.....3 of the 7 were up for retention.....all 3 of them were voted NOT to be retained.

-11:56...CNN announces that Prop 19 in California fails.....Pot is NOT legal in California...sorry Snoop Dogg, maybe next time....perhaps the stoners couldn't find their way to the polls!!!

-11:43.....MSNBC....Rachel Maddow claims that the Reid victory in Nevada is a HUGE setback for the GOP.....perhaps, BUT you're talking about the current Senate Majority leader...historically, I wonder when the last time a sitting Senate Majority leader lost their bid for re-election!?!?!  Any incumbent with that type of power would be hard to oust in any political climate....easy now Maddow....easy now.

-11:40...CNN Headline News....Joy Bahar just said that she thinks that POT should be legalized.....no surprise there....but may explain why MSNBC libs have the giggles tonight.
-11:35.....FoxNews....Brit Hume comments about how different this election map tonight would have looked if the Tea Party would have gone straight 3rd party.....he said it would have been devastating the Republicans.....excellent commentary, especially compared to what I'm hearing over on MSNBC which only wants to laugh at losing GOP candidates.

-11:25....MSNBC...R-Toomy defeats D-Sestak in PA!  yet another net gain for the GOP...!!
-11:18....FoxNews....Karl Rove comments on the fact that the Dems have a net gain of ZERO senate seats while the the GOP have a net gain of 6 senate seats....no spinning that stat.

-11:13....MSNBC....CALLS OBAMA'S EX SEAT TO GOP!!!  Way to go Kirk!  Illinois can go red!
-11:07.....MSNBC.....tries to downplay the tea party influence....really!?!?  Chris Matthews calls Chris Coons (Deleware Senate winner) the "luckiest man".....punidit also says on MSNBC that the "tea party has prevented the Republicans from having an even bigger night."  Again..really?!?  I don't think that the GOP would be where they are now if it weren't for the tea party....after 2008, the GOP was declared all but dead by the so called experts in the media.....the tea party brought conservatives back and thus the GOP came back......get a clue MSNBC.
-11:05....MSNBC.......Paladino concession speech is shown......pundits call it a "terrorist comment"....they call him "crazy and violent".....again, they laugh and laugh....nice to know they can laugh their way through their liberal losing ways in tonight's election results.......I wonder how they will act in 2012?
-10:46....FoxNew.......Boehner cries during speech......think I'll turn to MSNBC to see if they laugh at him for it.....
-10:41....FoxNews....future speaker of the House Boehner (Ohio) says, "this is not time to celebrate"....wow, a far cry from 2008 when all we heard from Democrats about how great Obama is and how much we should celebrate our new president....nice to hear an elected official talk about a real plan for American instead of just talking about "Change, Change, Change"
-10:38....FoxNews....Chairman Steele holds up 2008 cover of Time magazine with the headline, "GOP, Endangered Species".......how quickly the tide changes!
-10:35....MSNBC.....Laughing gas must be in the air over there.....what they have to celebrate?  I don't know....must still be giddy over O'Donnell's defeat....they'll wake up tomorrow morning with a liberal headache.
-10:22....FoxNews....Karl Rove speaks....we listen!  Predicts that Southern Illinois will come through for Senatorial Candidate Kirk!!!!!!!!!!!!
-10:14....FoxNews....shows what the new blue state red state map of the US looks like based upon the new Republican House majority....have I ever told you that you look good in red America?
-10:05....CNN.....Gergen says "good for the women who have won tonight, its a good change for our country".......Spitzer then says, "yeah but some big name women have lost, like McMahan"....if I were Spitzer, I would keep my mouth shut when it comes to talking about women.
-9:50....MSNBC....Arianna Huffinton is on.....changing the channel.....
-9:49.....MSNBC reports that Kirk is up on Alexi!  28% of polling places left to report.
-9:40....NBC reports that Kirk vs Alexi for Obama's old Senate seat is 48-47 in favor of Alexi with 71% reporting.....victory in sight for Republicans!  Don't let us down southern Illinois!!
-9:36....NBC announces that Russ Feingold LOSES!  A minute earlier an NBC pundit remarked, "the projected Republican majority will not equal Pelosi's majority of the past couple years."  Talk about spin.
-9:10....Sarah Palin announced that her daughter Bristol Palin is safe in her vote in Dancing with the Stars....Fox News Alert!
-9:05....CNN Gergen says, "only 2 times in 60 years has an incumbent president lost the house".....yet another historic moment for President Obama!

-9:01....CNN reports that the Nevada Senate race is 48-47 in favor of Reid....developing....
-8:52....CNN reports on Illinois Senate race.....Alexi vs Kirk.....they report that Alexi is winning with about 1/2 the polls reporting...ACTUALLY this is pretty good news for Republican Kirk right now, becaue if Cook County has already reported their results, then Southern Illinois can still make a difference!......remember that during the 2004 and 2008 election that after only 1% of the polling places reporting their results, they were able to call the state for Obama...that 1%, of course, being Cook County (Chicago)....lets go downstate Illinois!....teach Chicago a lesson that they don't dictate the course for the entire state.
-8:50....CNN analyzes "anti-tea party" tweets in the "twittervse".....I think the media is looking to focus on anything but the new conservative majority in the House.  I'm speechless.....
-8:40.....MSNBC slams O'Donnell's concession speech........they are making Fox News look REALLY fair and balanced with their coverage.....
-8:35.....O'Donnell gives concession speech....MSNBC's Olberman says "Get your popcorn"....if an O'Donnell loss is all that the libs care about, then let them have it.....Conservatives will gladly take the country back, you can gloat all day about the this senate race.....while Conservatives have taken a huge step into putting this country back on the right track....

-8:21....CNN projects that the Republicans will take the House...earlier, Nancy Pelosi showed confidence in keeping the majority....reminded me of the famous Iraqi claim of "The US Army is no where near the airport!"  Will she admit it tomorrow??

-8:18...MSNBC...Ed Schultz says that Rand Paul "hangs out with the birthers every now and then".....the unhinging begins.....
-8:15 pm (CST) MSNBC claims that Rand Paul and Rand Paul alone has the power to create a world wide economic depression!!!  MSNBC = The Place for Fearful Politics!!
-Early evening.....Rand Paul giving victory speech.....speaking of  the tea party wave and limited constitutional government and balanced budgets....sure beats the Al Franken's wave of comedic embarrassments.
-Early evening....Blast from the pass.....Fox News has on Geraldine Ferraro and Sarah Palin.....
-Early evening.......Grayson LOSES.....so much for the line "Republicans want you to die quickly!"  One less crazy man in the House.
-Early evening.......West VA Senate seat goes Democrat......makes taking the Senate tough if not impossible now....developing
-Early evening.....MSNBC gloats over O'Donnell's loss in Delaware....you would have thought they won the Super Bowl...
-Early afternoon.......Yahoo! and Google homepages once again show liberal bias by NOT adding any voting flash animations to their websites!  Reason?  Simple....they know today is supposed to be a big day for conservatives....so they think that by ignoring the day's theme, then maybe people will forget to vote!  I wonder what their webpages looked like on election night 2008?  Oh yeah....like this:
That was google.com's homepage on election night 2008......why no midterm election animation?  I think it's obvious, as stated above.

Coexist......really?

For the second time this week I've seen a car with the Coexist bumper sticker on it.  Both times there was also an Obama/Biden sticker next to it.  At first glance and on the surface, the sticker appears to deliver a great message, however I would love to ask the person driving that car what their feelings are towards religion and Christianity, in particular.  I have a little theory that those people who use the Coexist bumper sticker or wear the t-shirt actually are anti-religious.  The entire "Coexist" movement is nothing more than a liberal attempt put all religions on the same level and trick people who see you sporting it to actually think that you believe in promoting or treating all religions equally.  In reality, most people who display the Coexist statement are really saying that religion is practiced by stupid people and since there is no outlawing of religions, then the best they can do is hope that we all get along.
If you do a yahoo! search for "Coexist bumper sticker", the site that comes up number one is called "Stamp and Shout - Liberal Political t-shirts, bumper stickers, car magnets, and more".  According to the pewforum.org, those unaffiliated with any particular religion voted FOR Senator Obama by a margin of 75-23%!  Make no mistake about it, the nonreligious voted for Obama by an overwhelming majority.  According to the same Pewforum poll, that was an 8 point increase from the 2004 presidential election.  It was the single biggest gain of any religion related group.
This week's column is not an attempt to claim that one religion is superior to any other.  My point is to call out those who claim to want religions to "coexist" when their actual agenda is to bring down organized religion altogether.  Beware of any liberal who claims to want everyone to be equal.  In reality, they want only people with liberal beliefs to be treated equal and conservative views can take a hike.  If asked, most "coexist" supporters probably really want all religious people to coexist on their own little island somewhere in the Pacific.

All they need to know, they learned in Kindergarten.

I have long been saying that all of what a liberal knows, they learned in Kindergarten.  The label I give to such liberals is "Grader K'ers".  It is a reflection upon that popular saying and a poster that often appears in Kindergarten classrooms.  The idea is that everything you needed to know, you learned in Kindergarten.  A cute little poster or desk calendar makes for a nice laugh or a Christmas gift for a teacher (if you're even allowed to call it a Christmas gift anymore in schools).  Liberals have, however, taken it a bit past the ha ha funny little joke that it is.  Liberals have pretty much adopted that as the foundation of their philosophy of how the world should be.
It doesn't matter if you're talking about the economy, war, foreign relations, the environment, or (of course) public education, liberals act as if they are dealing with a bunch of kids in a kindergarten classroom.  (Bill Maher would say that we are as dumb as Kindergartners)  At the root of this mind set is the belief that if little Joey gets to play with the toy, then so does little Jenny.  They subscribe to the idea that everyone gets an equal turn and everything must be shared.  Again, this is great for 5 year olds, but not for building a strong and sustainable economic policy, solving terrorism, reforming health care, or dealing with an Iran or North Korea.
This weeks "Grade K Award" goes to (drum roll please).....Whoopie Goldberg for her comments and behavior on the View with guest Bill O'reilly (I think Joy Bahar needs a lesson on how to treat a guest).  Whoopie gets it for two reasons. 1.As soon as she disagreed with Mr. O'reilly, she dropped dropped some sassy language, stomped her feet and left the room (like any good 5 year old).  AND  2.  Whoopie screamed out, in reaction to O'reilly's statement that Muslims attacked on 9/11, "What religion was McVeigh"  (feel free to jump to 4:35 of this linked video so you can avoid listening to anymore Bahar than necessary).  Once again, a liberal tries to say that just because something is the case with one group of people that it also must equally be the case with every other group of people.  In this episode, Whoopie argues that because there are Muslim extremists she must also remind us that there are also Christian extremists.  Excuse me?  I don't remember hearing any story of Tim McVeigh screaming "All praise to Jesus Christ" or reciting the Lord's prayer as he drove away from the Oklahoma City Federal building.
The idea of the separation of Church and State has become so embedded into our society that we have confused it with the idea that religion should be avoided in our society.  It has reached an absurd level.   The last two generations of Americans have been bombarded with religious political correctness.  Our new secular society teaches us that no Christmas trees at city hall unless there is also a poster that describes what atheism is.  That every religion, regardless of support or numbers of worshipers in a society, must get equal playing time or no religion gets any playing time at all.    If that isn't enough PC to make you sick, we now have to hear Whoopie claim that all religions should be given equal treatment in their extremists.   Again, a grade K mindset.  For example, if little Ahmed can't pray towards Mecca, then little Jane doesn't get to say Under God with the pledge.  The only problem is, Christianity is often under attack while other religions are given a free pass by the ACLU.  Instead of allowing religion to play a crucial role in society like many people want it to, we have to bow at the alter of the anti-religious liberals who are using the ACLU to make religion (only Christianity) taboo in our country.  Our constitution was designed to keep the government out of religion, not religion out of the government.  If the people want their school children to say "Under God" in the pledge of allegiance, then "We the people" have that right.  School districts in Michigan have begun to recognize Ramadan as an official school holiday.  In a society where Christianity is being constantly pushed out of our public schools, Islam sure is finding a way into them.  This is, of course, perfectly acceptable.  Local school boards have these rights, unless they are from the Christian perspective.  But more notable is the fact that these things are happening AFTER 9/11.  Our nation is more tolerant and accepting than almost every nation on earth.  At a time when France is rejecting the rights of Muslim women to wear burqas in public, we get a bad wrap because we don't want a mosque built on ground zero.
In Kindergarten, everyone is praised and everyone is deemed a winner and always equal.  When you grow up (and become a conservative) you realize that is not the case in the real world. To claim that just because McVeigh happened to say he was a Christian you get equate that to the idea that terrorists used Islam as an excuse to attack the United States on 9/11 is outrageous.  People have been afraid to identify and address the issue of Islamic terrorism because they are scared of coming off as anti-Muslim.  And thus, 9 years after 9/11, Muslim terrorists are causing as much havoc and death as ever.  Unless our country is willing to throw away the claim that "all religions have extremists" the problem of international terrorism will never be solved.
A liberals biggest enemy is the truth.  Notice that Whoopie didn't have any real response to the statement that "Muslims killed us on 9/11" except for the absurd connection between McVeigh and Christianity.

Go ahead and say it: "It's Joe Biden's Seat"

by Keith Price

Apparently, Joe Biden AND President Obama are on the stump against Christine O'Donnell in Delaware. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20101015/pl_nm/us_usa_elections_teaparty)  They only thing keeping Obama and Biden from calling this seat "Biden's Seat" is the fact that Scott Brown called out the Democrats in the Massachusetts Senate race for so calling it "Ted Kennedy's seat".  The Democrats do believe that they are entitled to this seat, but they will never come out and say it now.  Scott Brown's brilliant response was "this is not Kennedy's seat, it is the PEOPLE'S SEAT".  Democrats believe in the policy of entitlements so much that they think that Democrats are entitled to certain seats in Congress.    If this seat in Delaware is so in the bag for the Democrats, why waste the time?  If I was the "bearded Marxist" Coons, I would tell the President "thanks, but no thanks".  Obama's presence only spells good news for O'Donnell.  It was interesting to see that CNN pulled away from the Coons-O'Donnell debate to cover the rescue of the last miner from Chile.  It obviously wasn't going very good for Coons, otherwise CNN would have loved to see a Tea Party Candidate suffer on live TV.  The truth is, O'Donnell was more than winning the debate so CNN quickly pulled the plug and had the Chilean mine rescue as a scapegoat.  Give to O'Donnell.  Rush Limbaugh suggested that everyone give just one dollar to her campaign.  Good idea!  A dollar a day keeps the bearded Marxist away!
